Duties include organizing, coordinating and accompanying music at selected masses and special liturgies, directing choirs and training cantors. Faith Lutheran Church, 9041 166th Ave NE, Redmond WA 98052, continues to seek a Director of Music Ministries to direct worship music and the Fine Arts at Faith (FAF) program. This is a 0.6 FTE salaried position with an annual salary range of $44-50 K. She/he will direct the Hand bell and Chancel choirs, select and play instrumental music for worship services including the Pasi, Opus 2 organ as well as and manage the FAF program. A Bachelor’s degree in music with extensive experience or a Master’s degree is required with keyboard ability on piano and organ, as well as experience directing vocal groups and hand bell experience. Experience as a team player with positive interpersonal skills is essential, as is past experience as a church organist. The position reports to the Congregational Council.
